Export Construction Presets
Lets you save your constructions presets to a ConstructionPresets.json file, which you can then use for setting up site-wide construction options.
By default, the file gets saved to the C:\Users\username\Autodesk\Alias\Profiles directory, but you can choose any location.
Only the user defined construction presets are included in the ConstructionSettings.json file. For example, none of the standard default construction presets, such as CATIA V5 or SolidWorks, are included in the file. You must first create duplicates of these presets using the Duplicate option in the Construction Options window.
Note the following flags in the file:
"Default preset": "Site Wide",- Indicates which preset is loaded by default when Alias starts."Show standards": true,- When set totrue, the standard default presets display in preset list of the Construction Options window. When set tofalseonly the presets in the file and those defined by the user display in the list.
