Draw Style
Changes how surfaces, curves, and section data appear in the view windows. The Draw Style settings do not affect printing or plotting.
DrawStyle Options
Surface
Surface Boundary
Choose SINGLE or DOUBLE for the thickness of surface boundaries.
Patch Precision
Choose Dotted or Solid for the line style of additional isoparametric curves introduced when setting the patch precision to a value greater than the default of 2.

V Hulls
Choose Dotted or Solid for the hull lines running in the V direction.
CV Icon
Click a button to choose the icon that represents CVs on surfaces.
Curves
Line Width
Choose SINGLE or DOUBLE for the curve thickness.
BlendPoint Style
Choose Small or Large for the size of the blend point icons on blend curves.
CV Icon
Click a button to choose the icon that represents CVs on curves.
EP Icon
Click a button to choose the icon that represents edit points on curves.
Subdivision Control Cage
Edge Thickness
Choose Single, Double, or Quad.
Creased Edges
Choose Single, Double, or Quad.
Boundary Edges
Choose Single, Double, or Quad.
CV Icon
Click a button to choose the icon that represents control vertices on subdivision control cages.
Subdivision Surface
Face Boundary
Choose Single or Double.
Patch Precision
Choose Dotted or Solid.
Section data
Point icon
Click a button to choose the icon that represents section data points.
Show Lines
Click to control whether section data is displayed with lines connecting points.
Line Style
Choose Dashed or Solid for the section data line style.
Symmetry
Line Style
Choose either Dashed or Solid. This setting is used for Layers > Symmetry tools.
Visual Curves (Cross Sections)
Line Width
Choose either Single or Double.
Visual curves (curves that are not geometry) are produced by several evaluation tools and include cross-sections, highlights, iso-angle curves, and parting lines.
Reference
Choose the line style used to draw the wireframe of reference objects in the viewport.
Draw Style workflows
Change the display of section line data
To show or hide scan data, change the symbol used to represent section line data points, or change the section line draw style.
Show or hide all section data
- Shift-select Display > Draw Style.
- Open the Section Data section, and then do the following
- Set the Show Lines option.
- Click one of the Point Icon symbol to change the data point symbol on section lines.
- Set the Line Style option to either Dashed or Solid.
