Bridge Fillet Updates (2025.1)
We've made several updates to the Bridge Fillet tool, including the ability to create Bézier Surfaces in V direction, a new Bridge Treatment option which makes the fillets more visible, and more Explicit Control options.
New Bézier Surface Option
When the Multiple Surfaces attribute is selected and Bezier Surfaces is on, you can now select the new Bezier in V (Section) option. This allows you to generate a bridge fillet with G2 Curvature continuity on both sides.
Bridge Treatment
A new Bridge Treatment option now lets you hide the bridge geometry so that the new fillet is more visible. Selecting Invisible hides the geometry similar to toggling the Display > Invisible menu option. Selecting Template is the same as selecting Display > Template.
Templating is useful to get objects out of the way, and for creating reference or construction objects that you can see without interfering with the modeling tools.
Explicit Controls
The Bridge Fillet tool now includes the same Explicit Control Options as the Surface Fillet tool. This includes the addition of the Uniform Spans options.
