To Export Windows Registry-Based Settings to a .Cfg File (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
Click the AM:Preferences tab.
In the Administration Tools section, click Export.
In the message that appears, click OK.
Browse to the location to save the settings to.
Name the file and click Save. The program saves the settings to a CFG file.
