To Connect to an External Library or a Catalog (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Click Insert tabBlock panel Library. Find
In the Library dialog box, select the main Library folder, and then right-click.
From the shortcut menu, choose Connect.
In the Open dialog box, select an external library, or a catalog (all files of the type .cfg).
Choose Open.

Note:

The existing library disappears from the current view.
To convert a Genius 12 library, use AMCVTLIB12.
