Results of a simulations do not display

If the results of a simulation do not display in the viewport, there are a few things you can check.

Make sure that the graph is not paused. Choose Edit > Resume Graph Execution, go to the first frame of the simulation, and then play back.
Make sure that the host scene is set to play every frame on playback.
