To Create an AEC Dimension

Open the tool palette that you want to use, and select the tool.
Note: Alternatively, you can click Home tabAnnotation panelDimension drop-downAEC Dimension Find or Annotate tabDimensions panel, and select one of the available dimension tools there.
Select the objects or points you want to dimension, and press Enter.
You can move or hide the Properties palette to expose more of the drawing area.
Click where you want to insert the AEC dimension.
