Autodesk Build Navigation Basics

Learn to navigate between the projects, products, and tools available in your account.

Project List

The project list shows all projects that you have access to. This includes both Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM 360 projects.

The project list is displayed when you first access Build. To open the project list from inside a Build project or from one of the other Autodesk Construction Cloud products:

  1. Click the project drop-down list.

  2. Click View all.

Tip: You can also use the search field to find projects by name in the drop-down list.

  1. Select a different region if you have Accounts in different regions. Learn more about Autodesk Regional Offerings.

  2. Quickly access links to Account Administration and Executive Insight.

  3. Use the links to access more Autodesk products:

  4. Use the tabs to choose whether to view a list of projects, project templates, or My Home tab.

  5. Click Create project to set up a new project.

  6. To sort the list of projects, simply click the column headings. You can sort by project type, name, number, account, or date created. The icon next to each project name indicates whether it is accessible through BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud Platform products.

  7. Use the search box to find a specific project by name.

  8. To filter projects by account, project type, or start and end date, click the filter icon . This will bring up a filtering menu that allows you to apply multiple filters at once. With this feature, you can easily narrow your project search results and quickly find the information you need.

  9. Use the Default product column to set your personal landing page for each project. Each project member can select their own product or administration space as the landing page when a project is opened.

    Note: The Quick access setting is not supported for BIM 360 projects visible in the project list.

Autodesk Profile

Click your name in the top-right corner to manage your Autodesk subscriptions and Autodesk Profile, or log out.

Use the product picker to access other products that share a unified experience. This includes:

  • Docs
  • Design Collaboration
  • Model Coordination
  • Takeoff
  • AutoSpecs
  • Build
  • Cost Management
  • Insight

Depending on your permissions, you may also be able to access Project Admin and Account Admin.

Tools

The left navigation within Autodesk® Build contains the tools available to use for specific workflows.
