Use this page to transform the coordinates of the objects to geographical coordinates.
Drawing Coordinate System Transform
Automatically transforms X, Y, Z coordinates of the drawing data into geographical coordinates. This option is not available if the drawing does not have a coordinate system defined.
User-Defined Transform
Transforms the drawing data using specified geographical coordinates.
- DWG Location
-
Specifies the coordinate value in the drawing. Click
to select a point in the drawing to be associated with the specific position on the Earth’s surface, or enter the coordinates in the X and Y fields.
- X: The X-coordinate of the point in the drawing to be associated with the specific longitudinal position on the Earth’s surface.
- Y: The Y-coordinate of the point in the drawing to be associated with the specific latitudinal position on the Earth’s surface.
- Earth Position (in Decimal Degrees)
-
Specifies the coordinate values of the points on the Earth’s surface in decimal degrees. Click
to specify the location from a map or a file, or enter coordinates in the Longitude and Latitude fields.
- Longitude: The longitudinal position of the point on the Earth’s surface that is associated with the X-coordinate of a specific point on the drawing.
- Latitude: The latitudinal position of the point on the Earth’s surface that is associated with the Y-coordinate of a specific point on the drawing.
- Rotation
-
Specifies the rotation (in decimal degrees) of the positive Y-axis in the drawing to the North direction. Click
to specify the rotation from a map or a file, or enter a value in the Rotation field.
