Link Revit Models in ACC
While models are still in progress and being reviewed and shared you can link them to models in Docs in ACC. You can link models using Revit Cloud Worksharing or Desktop Connector. To decide how to link your models see Visual workflow: Set Up BIM Collaborate Pro.
There are three different options for linking Revit models in Docs:
Link Revit Cloud Models. This includes both Revit Workshared Cloud models and Revit Non-workshared Cloud models.
To link in other Revit Cloud Models from the same project or Revit Cloud Models that have been shared with your project via ACC Bridge (Note: Bridge is supported for Revit 2023.1.2 or 2024 and later):
From the Insert tab in Revit, click Link Revit.
Click External Resource in the left panel of the file browser.
Tip: This is the default location for the file browser when your host model is saved in the cloud.Navigate to the location of the cloud model, whether Cloud Workshared or Cloud Non-workshared.
Select the model and click Open.
Link Non-Cloud Workshared Models
To link in other Revit models from Docs that aren't Cloud Workshared:
From the Insert tab in Revit, click Link Revit.
Choose the ACC drive in the file browser.
Navigate through the project and folder structure to the location of your model.
Select the model and click Open.
Note: Each team member needs to install Desktop Connector for Autodesk Docs to load the links.
Link Local Models
To create a link to on-premise Revit models:

Use the file browser to navigate to the location that contains the local model.
Note: You need to select a common file location, like a mapped drive, in order for other team members to load this on-premise link.Select the model and click Open.
