To import a file into the active document

Open a new or existing part file.
To change the import options:
1. Choose File > Options to display the FeatureCAM Options dialog.
2. Change the settings as needed in the File > Import Options and File > Import Types pages.
3. Click OK.
Choose File > Import.
Choose the file you want to import, and click Open.
A message asks if you want to review the log file: click Yes to display the results, or click No to continue.
Follow the instructions in the Import Results wizard to complete the process.

Note: Non-supported file types, such as .pdf files, are imported into FeatureCAM using Autodesk Manufacturing Data Exchange Utility.
