    To create curves from surfaces

Use the Construct tab > Curves panel > From Surfaces menu to create curves from existing surfaces.

Surfaces are usually 3D objects in FeatureCAM. There are several kinds of curves derived from surfaces. Curves from this set of categories are often used as building blocks for new surfaces or trimming surfaces.
