Hardware setup

Install PCIe cards

  1. Remove the workstation’s side panel to access the inside of the computer.
  2. Disengage the PCI retainer clip.
  3. Remove the PCIe slot covers for each of the cards to be installed.
  4. Insert cards according to the slot layout described in the tables below.
  5. Make sure to connect PCIe power cable(s) to the graphics card(s).

DIMM setup

The memory should be pre-installed in the workstation. Refer to this section for memory upgrades or configuration changes.

Reassemble the workstation

  1. Clip the PCI retainer bracket back in place.
  2. Re-attach the workstation’s side access panel.

Connect peripherals

  1. Connect the keyboard and mouse to USB ports.
  2. Connect the Display Port cable provided with the monitor from the DP port of the graphic card port to the monitor’s DP port.
  3. Connect a power cable to the monitor and connect a power cable to the workstation.
