Colour Coding (What's New in 2025.2)

Batch and Batch FX

The colour coding of a Render or Write File node can be propagated to the clips originating from them using the Render or Add to Workspace functions. This can help identify from where a clip was rendered. To apply the colour coding to a rendered clip, enable the Apply Colour Coding button in the Local Settings section of the Render node or Add to Workspace section of a Write File node.

Note: The default status of the Apply Colour Coding button for every new Render and Write File nodes can be set using the Apply Colour Coding on Clip setting in the Batch and Batch FX Preferences.

Timeline

The timeline segment of a clip rendered with the Apply Colour Coding option enabled inherits the same colour coding as the clip itself.

The Clip and Render nodes created by the Create Batch Group function inherit the timeline segment's colour coding.
