Flame Family Fixed Issues (2025.2.2)

Action Media FX
FLME-67755: Setting values in the Blur indirect module, accessed from the Media List, can result in the image being corrupted in Action.

Batch Schematic
FLME-68061: New nodes do not receive a name if another node already has the same name, differing only in case.

Colour Management
FLME-68031: Content using a custom colour space is not correctly loaded when copied from a project or restored from an archive.
FLME-68201: The Colour Management Viewing Rules cannot be modified after project creation.
FLME-68228: Using the Auto Convert mode in the MediaHub can result in the media not being visible and being replaced by a checkerboard pattern in a project that uses the Legacy colour policy.

Data-Management
FLME-67821: Caching jobs no longer complete after modifying the Colour Space of a cached video with audio.

Hardware
FLME-68497: Licensing issues related to GNOME Keyring may occur when running Flame Family products on Rocky Linux using HP Anyware.

Machine Learning
FLME-67776: Loading a LaMa in-painting ONNX model in the Inference node crashes the application.

The crash when loading the LaMa model has been fixed, but more steps are required on the user side to successfully use this model in Flame. Since it is a fixed-size model that works only if all pixels in the Matte input are black or white, it will not work on Matte clips with grey pixels. Therefore, we suggest the following:

  • Use two Resize nodes to set the resolution of the Front and Matte clips to 512 x 512 and connect the outputs of the Resize nodes to the Inference node. Triangle must be used for the filtering of the Matte. This is required since any resizing performed inside the Inference node may result in the Matte clip having grey pixels.
  • If needed, use a Pixel Spread node on the resized Matte to make sure it completely covers the area to be in-filled.
  • Make sure the InverseGain token is set to 255.0 in the JSON file associated with the model.

Matchbox
FLME-67946: A 'PIPELINE: ProcessShader:Render Frame::CreateRender Graph' error message appears when a Matchbox shader containing a Windows newline character is loaded.

Tools
FLME-67769: Match Grain: The scoping selection of the Gain transform is not persisted in a setup.
