Flame Family Known Issues (2026)
AVIO |
---|
FLME-67335: Audio Monitoring level is set to a very low value when using PulseAudio as Audio Device, preventing audio monitoring. Workaround: Reset the Audio Monitoring level value in the Monitoring preferences menu. |
FLME-66801: When monitoring an NDI stream from the application using third-party application or hardware, switching project prevents NDI monitoring. (macOS) Workaround: In the third party application or hardware, refresh the connection by de-selecting and reselecting Flame as the NDI source. |
Action Axis |
---|
FLME-69326: Other channels are impacted when using the Reset Channel (Default Value), Reset Channel (Current Value), or Keep Current Keyframe Only options on the numeric field of a Scale channel. |
Action Rendering |
---|
FLME-69339: The rendering time of an Action setup using the output of an upstream Paint node and Motion Blur incrementally gets slower each time the setup is rendered. |
FLME-67568: Lens Flare presets do not render properly in Action scenes set to a Log colour space. |
Animation Editor |
---|
FLME-66088: After a node is duplicated, its channels aren't selected in the Animation hierarchy, even if the node is selected. Workaround: Deselect the node and then select it again. |
Batch General |
---|
FLME-69107: The batch_setup_loaded python hook is not triggered as expected when adding a new version using Open Clip content. |
Batch Media Import Export |
---|
FLME-66752: If you render Multi-Channel content with a Write File node using the versioning and Add to Workspace options, then the re-imported clip references the media files instead of the Open Clip. Workaround: Manually import the Open Clip to the Workspace. |
Cloud Deployment |
---|
FLME-62020: A slight offset might be seen when navigating the application's user interface remotely using HP Anyware and bridging the Wacom tablet over USB when the Tablet Margins parameters are set to any value other than 0% in the Input Devices preferences. Workaround: There is no Tablet Margins support in HP Anyware, so you must set it to 0% in Flame. 1. Start Flame. 2. Go to Preferences -> User -> Input Devices and set Tablet Margins to 0%. 3. Exit Flame. 4. Start Flame. 5. In the HP Anyware client, open Connection -> USB Devices... 6. In USB Devices, disconnect the Wacom tablet and then reconnect it. 7. Go back to Flame and select your Project. You should no longer see any cursor offset while using the Wacom tablet. As a rule of thumb, only connect the Wacom tablet once you see the Flame startup screen. |
Codecs |
---|
FLME-69329: Decoding an R3D Dragon 6K clip using the CPU causes the application to crash. (Apple silicon) |
FLME-69327: On import, Sony BURANO X-OCN clips are tagged with the incorrect colour space. |
FLME-53509: It is not possible to cache R3D media files using Colour Science 3.x if OLPF Compensation is enabled on dual GPU systems. Workaround: Use CPU when debayering with OLPF at Full resolution (Format Specific Options - Debayering - Debayer Mode - Use CPU). or Restart S+W Server (sudo /opt/Autodesk/sw/sw_restart). |
Data Management |
---|
FLME-69352: The frame rate metadata of cache media created for Batch renders is set to 24 fps and not to the frame rate of the Render node. |
Effects Tab |
---|
FLME-68794: Setups are not updated when the Hardware Anti-Aliasing value is modified while the current environment is Effects. |
Hardware |
---|
FLME-68319: The application crashes when you turn on your monitor after it has been off for a short time period. (macOS) |
Licensing |
---|
FLME-65687: The Autodesk Licensing Service may not start correctly following a system reboot. (macOS) Workaround: Enter the following command line in a Konsole/Terminal: launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.autodesk.AdskLicensingService.plist |
Matchbox |
---|
FLME-69158: The application crashes when a project is saved after an invalid Matchbox shader was loaded. Workaround: Delete any Matchbox node that did not load properly in your Batch setup. |
Media Export |
---|
FLME-66007: Content with an Alpha channel cannot be exported as RGBA when using the Export Between Marks option. |
Media Import |
---|
FLME-69225: When browsing R3D media files, selecting a non IPP2 colour space does not set the right tagged colour space. Workaround: Set the Colour Science option to Codec 3.x |
FLME-68969: Caching R3D media files may fail on workstations with two GPUs. (Rocky Linux) Workaround: #Avoid using the secondary GPU for R3D caching: +In Flame 2025.x:+ Edit /usr/lib/systemd/system/adsk_sw_serverd.service #Add the following line after [Service]: Environment="DL_R3D_CUDA_DEVICE_TO_USE=0" #Force the reload of the service file with the following command: sudo systemctl daemon-reload #Restart the S+W Server: sudo /opt/Autodesk/sw/sw_restart +In Flame 2026:+ Edit /opt/Autodesk/backburner/cfg/backburner.server.env_vars #Add the following line: DL_R3D_CUDA_DEVICE_TO_USE=0 #Force the reload of the service files with the following command: sudo systemctl daemon-reload #Restart the Backburner Server: sudo systemctl restart adsk_backburner_servers |
OCIO |
---|
FLME-69171: The Tagged Colour Space might not be correct when the View Transform mode is selected in a Colour Mgmt node, and the View option references a colour space. |
Paint |
---|
FLME-69191: Desktop Paint: Entering the View menu crashes the application. |
Player |
---|

---|
FLME-69293: The incorrect bit depth value is displayed in the Manage panel of a projet after an Action node was loaded in Batch. |
FLME-69189: The Project <host ip> token sometimes resolve to the loopback IP. Workaround: Use the <hostname> token instead of the <host ip> token. |
Python API |
---|
FLME-69218: Wiretap SDK scripts cannot import media files because the wrong metadata is cached during browsing. |
Python Hooks |
---|
FLME-69162: The application crashes when the batch_export_begin python hook is used and 'aborted' is set to True inside the hook's info dictionary. |
Rendering |
---|
FLME-68977: Background Reactor rendering tasks are not rendered on the second GPU of a multi-GPU configuration. (Rocky Linux) |

Third-Party Updates |
---|
FLME-67773: Dragging an object to the bottom of the screen to delete it may fail if the gesture is too quick. (Wacom Intuos pro PTH-660) Workaround: Drag clips slowly. |

---|
FLME-69296: Master Keyer: The Inverse OutMatte output is not tagged as 'Matte'. |

FLME-68934: The Timewarp node does not perform properly in 16-bit fp if a Resize node is connected upstream and the Timewarp speed is set to an odd value. Workaround: Set the Machine Learning Frame Interpolation to 32-bit fp or apply the resize after a Timewarp node set to 16-bit fp. |
