Flame Family Known Issues (2026.1 Update)
Action Rendering |
FLME-67568: Lens Flare presets do not render properly in Action scenes set to a Log colour space. |
AVIO |
FLME-67335: Audio Monitoring level is set to a very low value when using PulseAudio as Audio Device, preventing audio monitoring.
Workaround: Reset the Audio Monitoring level value in the Monitoring preferences menu. |
FLME-66801: When monitoring an NDI stream from the application using third-party application or hardware, switching project prevents NDI monitoring. (macOS)
Workaround: In the third-party application or hardware, refresh the connection by de-selecting and reselecting Flame as the NDI source. |
Batch General |
FLME-69107: The batch_setup_loaded python hook is not triggered as expected when adding a new version using Open Clip content. |
FLME-69632: Nodes in the Node bins cannot be highlighted by pressing a letter on the keyboard if the Media Panel is displayed and one of the clips does not have a thumbnail.
Workaround: Either hide the Media Panel or set a thumbnail for the faulty clip. |
Batch Media Import Export |
FLME-66752: If you render Multi-Channel content with a Write File node using the versioning and Add to Workspace options, then the re-imported clip references the media files instead of the Open Clip.
Workaround: Manually import the Open Clip to the Workspace. |
Batch Schematic |
FLME-69825: Nodes can no longer be inserted using the Auto-Insert Node keyboard shortcut after using the Toggles Output Socket for Auto-Insert keyboard shortcut. |
Cloud Deployment |
FLME-62020: A slight offset might be seen when navigating the application's user interface remotely using HP Anyware and bridging the Wacom tablet over USB when the Tablet Margins parameters are set to any value other than 0% in the Input Devices preferences.
Workaround: There is no Tablet Margins support in HP Anyware, so you must set it to 0% in Flame.
1. Start Flame.
2. Go to Preferences -> User -> Input Devices and set Tablet Margins to 0%.
3. Exit Flame.
4. Start Flame.
5. In the HP Anyware client, open Connection -> USB Devices...
6. In USB Devices, disconnect the Wacom tablet and then reconnect it.
7. Go back to Flame and select your Project. You should no longer see any cursor offset while using the Wacom tablet.
As a rule of thumb, only connect the Wacom tablet once you see the Flame startup screen. |
GMask Tracer |
FLME-69810: Changing the resolution of a GMask Tracer node can cause the Mask and its resulting Matte to be out of sync. |
FLME-69939: The surface keyed inside a Tracer moves incorrectly if the Camera position is animated. |
Hardware |
FLME-68319: The application crashes when you turn on your monitor after it has been off for a short time period. (macOS) |
HDR Workflow |
FLME-70006: The media renders of timeline segments on an HDR track are lost when the application is relaunched. |
Licensing |
FLME-65687: The Autodesk Licensing Service may not start correctly following a system reboot. (macOS)
Workaround: Enter the following command line in a Konsole/Terminal:
launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.autodesk.AdskLicensingService.plist |
Media Export |
FLME-66007: Content with an Alpha channel cannot be exported as RGBA when using the Export Between Marks option. |
Media Panel |
FLME-69454: The channel information, which is part of the clip's name imported using the Filename_Channel or Channel_Filename options, is not displayed in the clip's information window opened using Alt+Click. |
Open Clip |
FLME-69912: An Open Clip with a relative path referencing a media location set to more than 2 levels up cannot be displayed in the MediaHub. |
Player Snapshot |
FLME-69617: The content of a folder is not visible in MediaHub after a snapshot is added to it.
Workaround: Navigate to a different folder and then navigate back to the snapshots folder. |
Plugins |
FLME-70020: When Sync with OS is enabled in the Colour Management project Preferences, an invalid display is set in the kOfxImageEffectPropOCIODisplay property of the OpenFX Colour Management Suite, which may result in the plugin behaving incorrectly. (macOS)
Workaround: Disable Sync with OS in the Colour Management Project preferences. |
Start Frame |
FLME-66929: The Motion Blur effect inside Action is not working on frames numbered higher than 1048576. |
Third-Party Updates |
FLME-67773: Dragging an object to the bottom of the screen to delete it may fail if the gesture is too quick. (Wacom Intuos pro PTH-660)
Workaround: Drag clips slowly. |
Timeline FX |
FLME-70030: The application crashes when a clip has no proxy media and an attempt is made to render its Timeline FX with Proxy being selected, rather than Full Resolution in the Render drop-down. |
Tools |
FLME-69784: Blur: Performance drops when the Defocus mode is selected. (Apple silicon M3 & M4) |
Type |
FLME-69744: The matte of a logo is not properly used when the tool has a clip connected to its Back input. |
FLME-69903: Type nodes are moved in the Batch Schematic when one of the options in the Missing Font dialog window is clicked. |
Utilities |
FLME-65759: The Colour Sampler leaves a feedback trail if the sampled value exceeds the window's character limit. |
