Finish Feature Enhancements (What's New in 2026)

Learn about improvements made to the Finish feature in this release of Inventor.

The Finish Feature is enhanced for use with the Autodesk Viewer. The improvements include:

Face color overrides made by the Finish feature display in the viewer.
Where multiple finish features are used on the same face, the last applied finish feature display in the viewer.
When Finish features are suppressed, the Finish display is excluded on the object.

Note that these enhancements only works for the part Finish feature, not the assembly Finish feature.
