Release Notes in version 2026.1

This document lists product fixes which have been made in InfoWorks WS Pro 2026.1.

See Known Limitations and Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.

The fixes listed here are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.

WQ Trace and Multi-trace not working for Lagrangian

When running Water Quality analysis using the Lagrangian solver, Trace percentage results and dominant source could appear incorrect. This is fixed.s

IWLive Headline Polygon and Geo-explorer

If a network contained more than 100,000 nodes, the headline polygon in IWLive and the network extent in the Geo-explorer would be empty. This is fixed.

GMR Runs with Customer Points

When a query was used that generated multiple rows for each test case (for instance customer points), only one row was shown in the results. This is fixed.

InfoWorks TS: Valve Closure not linear

There was an issue where, when closing a transient valve in InfoWorks TS, the closure could not be linear. This is fixed.

About Box

Sometimes the About box would display an "Out of memory" error. This is fixed.

CSV Export

When exporting a network to CSV, the "category type" field in the "demand by category" table was not exported. This is fixed.

4K Displays

Sometimes the application icons would be incorrectly sized on 4K Displays. This has been fixed by setting the High DPI scaling to System (Enhanced).

UPC Scripts

UPC scripts contain "USING UPSTREAM" OR "USING DOWNSTREAM" did not work. This is fixed.

Ruby File dialog

The Ruby file dialog did not work if the dialog was cancelled. This is fixed.

Associated Demand Diagram

If a network was opened with an associated demand diagram that had been deleted, the network would not be opened. This is fixed.

Wrong Colour Simulations

There was an issue where lines in a simulation log could be highlighted incorrectly, This is fixed.

Control data is preserved when splitting links

When splitting a link, the control data was previously lost. This has been improved so that control data is applied to all new link segments.
