To create a profile feature class

  1. In the Infrastructure Administrator, click Enterprise and connect to the enterprise industry model.
  2. Open a project.
  3. Expand the industry model and click Data Model.
  4. In the right-hand pane, expand the Data Model node.
  5. Right-click the Profile node and click Create Feature Class.
  6. On the Feature Class Properties tab, set the Type to LineString or Point.

    You do not have to select a Model Feature Class or a Topic.

  7. Click the Geometry Settings tab and specify any settings relevant to this feature class.

    You must add the attributes FEATURE_TYPE and LINESTYLE to each profile feature class to make it available as a profile feature class.
