This Workflow Designer activity creates a Display Manager layer using the specified data store connection.
For an overlay that specifies feature layers, you must include this activity. The output of this activity is a Display Manager layer name.
- Display Name
- Enter a title for this activity.
- Connection ID
- Enter a connection ID for the data store that this layer represents, or click
to use the ID property of a preceding activity.
- Prompt At Run Time
- Select this option to pause for input at run time.
- Enabled
- Select or clear this option to enable or disable the activity.

- Feature Class. Click
and select a feature class or layer from a preceding activity.
Note: For WMS feature sources, feature classes are displayed as WMS_Schema:0 0, WMS_Schema:0 1, and so on, rather than with descriptive names. For descriptions of the feature classes, examine the connection information in the Data Connect window. - Group. Specify a group for this layer to use in Display Manager.
- Layer Name. Specify the name of the Display Manager layer for this feature class.
- Zoom To Extents. Select this option to zoom to the layer extents after the feature is added.
