To Add Records

To create an enterprise industry model feature that has no geometry yet

1. In the Maintenance workspace, open an industry model drawing or an enterprise industry model project.
2. Open the feature class form for the feature class in question.
3. In the feature class form, click New Record .

   The feature class form switches to Edit mode and you can capture data. If a Reference Record is active, it will be applied.

4. Click Insert to store the record in the database.

To digitize a feature with geometry, do one of the following

• In the feature class form, click Digitize New Feature And Select It Into the Form .

  When you start the command, the Graphic window becomes active and you can use all available graphic tools to create the feature.

• Click Industry Model explorer shortcut menu Digitize or Digitize With Form.

To digitize the geometry of an existing enterprise industry model record

• In the feature class form, click Digitize New Geometry For the Selected Feature .

  You can create geometry data subsequently, if the attribute data was captured before.

To connect an existing feature in the drawing to the current feature

• In the feature class form, click Connect An Existing Geometry With the Selected Feature .
