Reference records are used to create data more quickly. Define one or more reference records for each feature class. These can be used in a workflow. You can:
- Use no reference record.
- Use the last used reference record.
- Use the current record as a reference record. .
Note: To explore available reference records, open the related feature class form in Edit mode.
- Click the Industry Model explorer icon.
- Expand the Point topic.
- Right-click the feature class for the reference record you want to create. For example, House Connector.
- Right-click and click Show Form.
- In the form, right-click in the background and click Reference Record
Add.
The New Reference Record dialog box is displayed.
- In the Name field, enter a name, such as Digitized House Connector, and click OK.
- In Reference Record mode, enter the reference values to be used, such as Accuracy = Digitized.
Note: If you select the Use the current record as Reference option, the table displays all reference attributes with set values. You can choose any of these attributes to create a new reference record.
- Click Save.
