To validate a select statement

  • In SQL Assistant, click Execute menu > Execute.

    The result is displayed in the script output box. Syntax errors are highlighted and marked with a "^" sign.

    Note: Press <ESC> to abort the select statement while it is executing. For example, you may want to abort if the select statement returns a large number of records.
