Interface: userGridSettings Inferface
The userGridSettings Core Interface provides access to the controls in the User Grids tab in the Grid and Snap Settings dialog.
Available in 3ds Max 2026.
Interface: userGridSettings Properties:
userGridSettings.autoActivate : boolean : Read|WriteGet/Set the Activate grids when created check box.
userGridSettings.objectSpaceAlign : boolean : Read|WriteGet/Set the AutoGrid Alignment option.
When set to false(default), World space will be selected.
When set to true, Object space will be selected.
