A hold is a part or an extension of a camera shot where the first or last frame is held for a specified period of time before or after the original camera shot.
To create a hold
- In the Camera Sequencer, select a camera shot.
- Do one of the following:
- Shift-drag the upper corners of the shot to create a hold before or after the original shot.
The Hold cursor appears as you create the hold.
- In the Channel Box or Attribute Editor, enter values for the Pre Hold or Post Hold attributes. For example, to create a hold for 3 frames before the camera shot starts, enter 3 as the Pre Hold value.
- Shift-drag the upper corners of the shot to create a hold before or after the original shot.
To edit the number of frames a camera shot is held
- Select the camera shot.
- Do one of the following:
- Double-click the number beside the H on the held part of the camera shot and enter a new value for the number of frames you want the shot held.
- Edit the Pre Hold or Post Hold attributes in the Channel Box or Attribute Editor.
