Time Editor User Defined Ghost window

To open the User Defined Ghost window

  • Right-click a clip in the Time Editor, and select Ghost > Set/Edit User Defined Ghosts
  • Select Clip > Ghost > Set/Edit User Defined Ghosts from the Time Editor Time Editor menu bar

Use the User Defined Ghost window to set an alternative to the default Time Editor clip ghost.

Objects to be used for ghosting list
Objects chosen in the Viewport or Outliner appear in this list. These objects are used to define a new ghost object for the clip.
Add
Lets you add the selected objects to the Objects to be used for ghosting list.
Add with children
Incorporates any child objects of the selected objects to the Objects to be used for ghosting list. (For example, if you choose a wrist controller, clicking Add with children includes the attached fingers.)
Remove
Deletes any highlighted objects from the Objects to be used for ghosting list.
Include objects driven by clip
Incorporates any objects that are animated by the clip, for example, an object driven by a constraint.
