Thermoset material dialog-Thermal Properties tab
The Thermal Properties tab of the Thermoset material dialog is used to specify the thermal properties of the thermoset material.
| Dialog element | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Melt density | Displays the density of the material in the melt state, as described by the 2-Domain modified Tait PVT model. |
| Solid density | Displays the density of the selected material in the solid state, as described by the 2-Domain modified Tait PVT model, at 0 MPa pressure and 25 degrees celsius. |
| Specific heat data | The specific heat (Cp) of a material is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of a unit mass of material by one degree celsius. |
| Thermal conductivity data | The thermal conductivity (k) of a material is the rate of heat transfer by conduction, per unit length, per degree celsius. |
