Troubleshooting reports

Note: Report generation is only supported for Microsoft 2010 products and later.
Note: If you receive an error message from Microsoft Office PowerPoint, when opening a report from a project on a remote server, click Microsoft Fix it to reach Microsoft Support and fix the problem.

If you are running on Windows 10, and Microsoft Powerpoint is not available as an option, disable the User Account Control (UAC). You will need administrative rights on your computer.

  1. From the Windows Start menu, go to (Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies tab > Security Options).
  2. Scroll down to User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode.
  3. Right-click and select Properties.
  4. In the Local Security Setting tab of the User Account Control dialog, select Disabled, then click OK.
  5. Close all the dialogs.
