To generate a 3D channel mesh - conformal cooling

To accurately capture heat transfer from conformal cooling channels, the 3D channel mesh has a minimum of three enhancement layers close to the surface.

Ensure the prerequisites for a 3D channel mesh have been met before proceeding.

1. Click (Mesh tab > Mesh panel > 3D Channel Mesh).
2. Adjust the values in the Generate 3D Channel Mesh dialog as required.
3. Click Mesh, to launch the Simulation Compute Manager.
4. In the Simulation Compute Manager, select the solve location, then click Launch.

Note: While the conformal cooling channels are being meshed with 3D tetrahedral elements, any visible conventional cooling channels are meshed with beam elements.
