To select the Generic Shrinkage model
The Generic Shrinkage model was used until the introduction of the 3D Uncorrected residual stress model.
Note: Make sure you have a 3D model, and that you select an analysis sequence that includes Warp.
- Click
(Home tab > Molding Process Setup > Process Settings). - If necessary, click Next until you reach the page with the Advanced options button.
- Click Advanced options.
- Click Edit associated with the Molding material.
- In the Thermoplastics material dialog, select the Shrinkage Properties tab, then select the Generic shrinkage model model from the Select a shrinkage model (3D) drop-down list.
