Export results

Export results as an Moldflow Results file (*.mfr), which can be opened in Autodesk Moldflow Communicator.

  1. Choose the details you would like to export, right click on each one and choose Mark for export from the drop-down menu.

    An asterisk appears next to each result selected for export.

  2. Click app menu icon and select criteria icon (Publish panel > Criteria)

    The Criteria Editor dialog appears.

  3. Select the combination of criteria to be published

  4. Click OK

    The Save As dialog appears.

  5. Define where the criteria file is to be saved.

  6. Click Save

  7. Click app menu icon and select Publish panel > Results in MFR format.

  8. Enter the name of the results file.

  9. Ensure that Moldflow Results file (*.mfr) is selected in the Save as type drop-down list.

  10. Click Save.

    If you are asked to save the changes to the model, click Yes.

    The MFR Export Settings dialog is displayed.

  11. Select the Include criteria file check box.

  12. Navigate to the location of the criteria file you created in the previous task. Select the criteria file and click Save.

  13. Select the Restrict MFR contents based on criteria checkbox.

    This ensures that the studies can only be compared to the criteria file you have selected, and only the information included in the criteria file will be displayed.

  14. Click OK.

    You have exported results into a results file, which can now be opened in Autodesk Moldflow Communicator. The size of the results file is reported in a dialog.

  15. Open Moldflow Communicator and click app menu icon > Open. Navigate to where you saved your .mfr file and click Open.

    The part is now available.

  16. Click view ui icon (View tab > Windows panel > User Interface). Check Notes.

    The Notes panel opens. Any Study notes or Plot notes associated with this part have been transferred into Communicator.
