Saving a file
Files are saved with the extension *.aml.
You can save a data model in either of the following ways.
- Click Save (or File tab > Save) If the file does not already have a name you will be prompted to type a filename into the File name field.
- Click File > Save As. In the Save in field, select a folder to save the model in. Enter the file's name.
Multiple Document Support
Even though the Autodesk Moldflow Datafitting application allows multiple documents to be open at the same time, there is the possibility of data from passing between open documents or *.aml files opening in the incorrect thermoplastic or thermoset modes. So we do recommend only working on a single file at a time until we resolve this issue.
