Tutorial A10: Import Structural Model and Run

Now we are ready to import the structural input file produced by Advanced Material Exchange.

1. With Inventor and Inventor Nastran still open, double-click Analysis 1.
2. Click the Options tab.
3. Enable the Import structural model check box.
4. Browse for the radiatortank_ame.nas file exported by Advanced Material Exchange.
5. Click OK.

Now we are ready to run the analysis and simulate the as-manufactured part.

1. Click Run to begin the analysis.
