Submit the claim to the Claim Handler

Once the Claim has been created it is required to submit the claim for further investigation. The field ‘Claim Handler’ in the assignee section is used to determine the person responsible for processing the claim After the claim is created if you try to submit the claim for further investigation using the “Investigate” transition without assigning a Claim Handler the template will display an error message informing you to choose a person to handle the claim.

The Claim Handler can be selected from the “Details” tab as shown below, it is also possible to define a Target date for the Claim Handler, this will automatically create a milestone for status "Investigation"
