Attach sub-components to be released
This template is not currently available for Fusion users.
In case you want to release the sub-components of your item as well, select the item in the list and click on Add Related Items:
This will then allow to search for all new components of your design. Select to include ‘All Children’ where ‘Unreleased and working version are different from release’:
Once the search completed, click on Add to have all the items connected as Affected Item. Once the items have been added, you may provide comments for each component in the given column of the Affected Items view. These comments will be included in the automatic notification being sent upon approval.
Next, you have to define the given lifecycle transition to be performed for the items in the list. To do so, select all items in the list using the checkbox on top of the list. Then click ‘Bulk Lifecycle’ Change in the toolbar:
Select the given transition and click Update:
Back in the ‘Affected Item’s view, click Save to commit the changes:
