Initiate Release Process

From the item to be released, create the new Quick Release by using the Actions menu. Select Quick Create in…

As multiple processes can be used to perform the Pre Release, you have to choose the right process first. Select Quick Releases:

Provide a title for the process in the quick create dialog:

If you want automatic notifications to be sent to defined users, click the ‘Show all fields’ toggle at top. This will display all process data, including the ‘Distribution List’. Select the users to be notified in here.

Click on Save& Manage when done.

In the next step, select the only entry being available as Lifecycle Transition: Initial Design Revision. Click Save & View.

The new Quick Release Process will be displayed.
