Manage 8D report attachments

Note:

This template is not currently available for Fusion Manage Extension sites.

The Files tab contains all documentation associated with the 8D report. You may want to attach files to the 8D report, such as documents that provide additional information about the issue, templates to follow, customer complaints, evidence of the problem, and so on.

Add an attachment

  1. From the 8D reports workspace, open the report you want to attach files to.
  2. From the Files tab, click Upload.
  3. Locate the file you want to upload and click Open.
  4. In the Upload window, specify a name, description, and folder for the file.
  5. Click Upload.

Work with report attachments

Once a file is uploaded, you may work with it in a number of ways.

  • If a file is a supported file type that can be viewed in the Viewer, it shows as a clickable link. Click an attachment to view the file.
  • Select the attachment and click Download to download a copy to your computer.
  • Click Bulk Download to download all attachments at once.
  • Select an attachment, then click More Actions for additional actions to perform on the file, including uploading a new version of the file and removing it.
