Create an 8D report

1. Open the 8D Reports workspace.

2. Click Create .

3. In the Header section fill in all fields as necessary. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

   1. In the Title field, enter a name for the 8D report. Make it descriptive enough to identify what the report is for.
   2. In the Category field, click to select the general category this report falls into.
   3. (Optional) In the Instructions field, enter any additional information regarding the reason for the report or special considerations when working through the steps.

4. Click Save.

The 8D report is created, assigned an item number based on the item numbering rules for this workspace, and added to the list of 8D reports in the 8D Reports workspace. It has a status of D1 Team Formation.
