The eight disciplines (8D) model is a problem-solving approach to identify, correct, and eliminate recurring problems, making it useful in product and process improvement. The 8D Report workspace contains records of each 8D process that uses a workflow to work through each of the eight steps. Here we lay out the process of creating an 8D report, defining the team, describing the problem, and working to a solution.
