Idea selection and implementation
For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.
At the end of the process, a decision is required for each idea. The following options are available in the idea workflow:
- Shelved: The idea’s implementation will be postponed and a further review & analysis will be required
- Selected: The idea will be implemented immediately
- Rejected: The idea will not be implemented
The Progress and Idea Status graphic in the idea details page quickly indicates this progress of evaluation and approval. The progress bar matches the workflow progress (Creation, Review, Analysis, Voting, Implementation) with the current status shown in red:

An idea that has been rejected can be used to clone new ideas, so keeping rejected ideas is of value.
If an idea is selected and will be implemented, users can refer to the given records in the Implementation section to keep track of an idea’s outcome.

If initial setup was done, a reference from the selected record back to the idea will be created. For example, all products selected in the Implementation section of an idea will relate to the Idea themselves automatically thanks to the onEdit script of the Ideas workspace.
