Voting process
The selected team might want to involve further stakeholders in the idea review by initiating online voting. Initiate this voting using the given workflow action.
This automatically involves all members of the user group Ideas Voting and enables them to respond with Like, Neutral or Dislike. Additional users can be involved in the voting process of a given idea by selecting them in the Voting Users (addtl.) field in the Analysis section. These users will be able to submit a vote in addition to the ones defined in the Ideas Voting group.
Once the idea reaches Voting status, voters use the Workflow Actions menu to submit feedback. Comments also can be provided along with the vote. People can only vote once.
The responsible team can end the voting at any time. Voting automatically ends when the final vote has been submitted, returning the idea back to status Refinement & Analysis. The vote progression can be tracked in the Voting section, showing the number of possible votes left, but also the votes and likes that were received so far. The Graph indicates the ratio of likes (green), neutrals (gray) and dislikes (red).
The Votes tab reveals all responses received including submission date, vote, username and comments. It also contains an Iteration column since a vote can be performed multiple times for the same idea. Every time a new voting session is initiated for an idea, the iteration will be increased by one to distinguish votes from the same users.
