Plan a sprint

Before planning a full sprint, you should plan out the activities expected to be completed in the next sprint. See Plan a sprint activity for more information on how to plan an activity.

To initiate a sprint, two conditions must be met:

  • You must have at least one backlog activity selected for the next sprint. The validation script prevents you from proceeding with the project workflow that has no selected activities.
  • You must have at least one person entered into the Team field on the project. All activities selected for a sprint are assigned to the team members listed in this field, unless specific assigness are defined on the activities themselves.

Add a team

  1. Navigate to the Innovation Project tab > References section.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Click the Team field and select members to add to the team.
  4. Click Save.

Add activities to a sprint

  1. Open the Activity Backlog tab.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. In the Next Sprint column, select each activity to add to the next sprint.
  4. Click Save.
