For users with Fusion connected sites, references to the 'Items' workspace should be the 'Components' workspace.

The Quality Management template provides a framework for capturing, managing, and tracking all product-related information and quality processes across the entire lifecycle of the product.

Quality Management in Fusion Manage is a proactive approach to quality, aimed at preventing poor quality products by including quality processes into the product lifecycle. When product information and quality information both reside in Fusion Manage, traceability is improved, and collaboration is enhanced with better control and communication of changes. Furthermore, Quality Management coupled with Change Management creates a closed loop quality management process where the issues that arise in quality make their way to engineering and can be corrected, allowing for a better product outcome. Quality Management in Fusion Manage helps manufacturers ensure product quality, reduce waste, lower costs, speed up time-to-market, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Note: If you provisioned your tenant after 2021, you will already have Quality Management as part of the Default configuration and you will not need to install the template. However, the content in this section provides all the information you need to use the Quality Management workspaces.

This template comes with the following workspaces:

  • Quality Inspection Plans
  • Quality Inspections
  • Non Conformances
  • Corrective / Preventative Actions
  • Return Merchandise Authorization
  • Claims
Note: The Return Merchandise Authorization and Claims templates are included with the default tenant for Fusion Manage customers. However, they are not included in the Quality Manage template and must be installed separately from the Template Library.
