Requirement approvals
Requirements are revision-controlled with Requirement Approval processes. These keep track of changes by creating baselines of the requirements structure. These processes involve defined stakeholders that approve a set of requirements. The approvals are captured as baselines and revisions of the requirements, making it easy to document and track changes to the requirements over time using a graphic worklow.
Each approval process defines a list of requirements to be frozen or updated. This list of Affected Requirements enables approval of single elements of the specification ahead of others. With this, all requirements can be approved at once or step-by-step to track the progression of the requirement specification process. At the same time, changes to formerly approved requirements can be validated, documented, and shared with all stakeholders in real time.
