Gate Rejection / Returning To Previous Phase

Approvers may also deny approval by returning to the previous project phase using the given workflow action. In such cases, further actions are required to mee the needs. Therefore, this workflow action will also initiate new tasks based on the 'Tasks In Work' list: if a reviewer identifies missing content during a gate review, this can be documented by adding new entries in the 'Tasks In Work' view. By returning to the project phase with the workflow action afterwards, the given new task(s) will be triggered automatically.

Once these additional tasks are complete, the gate review will be repeated as the project will transition to the gate review status again automatically. This repetition of a gate review will be documented by the 'Review Counters' in section 'Gate Reviews'. These counters get increased every time the given gate review status is reached.
