Project Template Status

A basis status management for the templates drive automatic validations and calculations when the template is set to active.

When a Project Template is set to Active, this will trigger the updates of various fields in the template’s details page:

  • Duration
  • Buffer Ratio
  • Timeline
  • Duration of Phases

Additionally, the template gets locked. To make updates to the template later on, users with the Project Templates [R/W] role will need to execute the Disable to allow for updates transition.

For ease of use, users will be able to also select project templates in draft status when creating new projects. If needed, administrators can set a filter condition on the given picklist to only allow selection of active templates.
