Fix Classification Errors

During the import process, classification errors may be discovered. Items with classification errors are imported, but they are classified using the default classification for the target workspace. A report is generated listing the items that have classification issues. You can open the report in Excel, fix the issues and then re-import the affected items to classify them correctly.

  1. From the navigation menu, select Advanced Tools > Imports.

  2. In My Import Projects, locate an import project with errors and then click Done With Errors.

    An Excel file containing the error report is downloaded to your browser's download folder.

  3. Open the downloaded file in Excel.

  4. The Errors column lists the classification error for each item. Edit each item according to the error message.

  5. Delete rows 1-5 from the top of the spreadsheet.

  6. Save the spreadsheet in the latest Excel file format.

  7. Start a new import project to import the corrected items.
