Edit Item Details
If you have permission to edit item details, an Edit button appears on the Item Details tab.
Open the item.
Click Edit.
Edit the item data.
Click Save.
If you need to revert to the latest revision at any time, click Revert to latest revision
beside the item name at the top of the window.
This is available for unlocked items, and it will revert changes made to Item Details, Classification, Grid, Bill of Materials, and Attachments.
Item Classifications
Classifications are used for cataloging items. Your site administrator creates a classification structure and defines the properties the comprise the classes. If a workspace has been configured with a classification structure, the Item Details tab includes a Classification section.
Change the Classification Root
The classification section header shows the classification root for that section. The root indicates where in the classification structure this item will be cataloged. You can change the root class for a classification section. While in edit mode, click the root link in the classification section header.
Optional: In the Select Classification dialog, enter a search term to find the classification you are looking for.
In the Select Classification dialog, select the root class and then click Select.
The property fields available in the classification section change to reflect the new root.
Note: You can only choose a sub-class of the original root class that was set by your Fusion Manage administrator.
