Items

Items are the building blocks of Fusion Manage. An item is a unique data record in a Fusion Manage workspace. An item can be a specific part, an assembly, a person, a task, an organization, an asset, or whatever you are managing. For example, a document control workspace for managing a library of documents would consist of items that represent the documents in that library or a change order workspace would consist of items that represent the change orders. You can search for items in the current workspace or across your site.

Item Header

The item header identifies an item by its descriptor and, depending on the workspace, shows workflow, lifecycle, and revision information.

For items in a revision-controlled workspace, the header includes the item descriptor, the lifecycle state, and revision of the item. An item undergoing a change is identified with a green stamp. Place your pointer over the stamp icon to view details about the change order. Click the stamp to navigate to the change order. If the working version is not locked, click the revision drop-down to revert the working version to the latest revision.
